Global Connections: Loudoun County Public Schools believes that usingtechnology to connect students to the world is key to student success. Thedivision is reframing 1:1 and BYOD initiatives as “One to the World,” whichis an instructional initiative that aims to connect students globally. Theinitiative is directly linked to the content and curriculum that students are already learning, but allows students to simultaneously focus on problem-solving real-world issues. It also encourages students to share their work with a wider audience than their classroom community.
