Wiley & Sons acquires Deltak.edu for $220 million

DELTAK.EDU LLC: Acquired by global publisher John Wiley & Sons Inc. for $220 million. Founded in 1997, Deltak develops fully online degree programs for colleges and universities; it currently supports over 100 such programs. More info in the press release. Looks like Wiley's shoring up its higher-ed business; just last week it announced a partnership with Knewton to offer its math readiness courses in Australia and New Zealand.
