A LIST OF THEIR OWN: Say you're a teacher and you know the gadget you want but lack the budget to buy it. What do you do? Asking for help is one way--and sites such as DonorsChoose, Adopt A Classroom and I Love Schools are great starts. In-kind contributions can be handy, too. A group of (mostly) former TFA'ers are trying to raise $5K to build a nonprofit Craigslist for teachers. Check it out here--and hey, maybe lend a hand.
