Digital Duct Tape: Here's a cool, beta-so-far tool called If This Then That. It works like digital duct tape, "connecting" otherwise independent services. For instance, a teacher can set up a blog post, on say, homework assignments, that automatically publishes in many venues (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) or, it can automatically archive SMS or email messages directly into Evernote. And yeah, edtech entrepreneurs, this is one that you might want to check out, too. Super handy--and in private beta so free for the foreseeable future--ifttt can truly save you social media mavens time. Ask here for a beta pass or peruse the blog of cofounder, Linden Tibbets. Thanks muchly to EdSurge friend Adam Bellow at eduTecher for this pointer.
