THIEL FELLOWS NEED NOT APPLY? Investor Peter Thiel may think skipping college is a good idea (hence the Thiel Fellowship) but managers of his latest global macro hedge clearly think otherwise. Slate found this charming job notice for an investment analyst with the soon-to-be-incubated fund, which said the "ideal" candidate would have a "High GPA from top-tier university; preferably in computer science, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, physics, engineering..." LinkedIn reports that the job is "no longer active." But the next round of Thiel Fellowship applications will be available in the autumn.
