StartX gets $800K grant from Kauffman Foundation

Aug 24, 2012

STARTX: $800K grant to StartX from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Launched in 2010 by Stanford students, the Stanford University-affiliated non-profit provides "experiential" training for student entrepreneurs looking to get their startups up and running. In funding terms, it's been a hit so far: StartX companies have raised over $70 million, many within three months of joining the program. The grant will help StartX scale its accelerator program, according to Edudemic.
