Search for Plans

SEARCH FOR PLANS: John Katzman has a pretty good track record at "finding" things: he founded The Princeton Review and 2tor. Now he's showing off another project he's had up his sleeve. Touting itself as "the single place for everything in education," Noodle aims to empower students and parents to make detailed decisions on everything from guidance counseling to graduate school. Currently the search and recommendation system focuses on K-16 education, with profiles of varying detail on 165K+ schools, universities, and tutoring centers. Not much yet about online content offerings, though we bet that's in the pipeline. Other services include what TechCrunch calls a "Groupon for tutoring" where groups of students can get discounts from all working with the same tutor.
