API ALERT: We want to keep an eye on APIs available to edtech'ers--so send us yours. A recent find: behemoth Pearson has cracked open its content vault a bit via APIs for three content resources: its Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, FT Press and the Eyewitness Guide to London. It's a good start--although doesn't yet include any of Pearson's deep resources for education. Pearson quite properly aims to get a second pressing from some of these materials and generate a bit more revenue. Most interesting will be how widely developers make use of these (and other emerging) APIs. What would you like to use?
