PATHBRITE: $2.5 million to San Francisco-based Pathbrite, founded by the savvy Heather Hiles. Rethink Education and the nonprofit, ACT. Rick Segal (from Rethink Edu) and ACT's David Cumberbatch are joining the board. Matt Greenfield will be an observer. This brings Pathbrite's funding raised to $4 million. Watch for more product-related announcements--and maybe even additional investors--this fall, Hiles promises.
