Partnership for Los Angeles Schools $1.6 Million Grant

Partnership for Los Angeles Schools received $1.6 million from several California foundations to support its ongoing Digital Learning initiative. The nonprofit Partnership serves 17,000 low-income students across 22 schools. Its 2010-2011 pilot of the Digital Learning Initiative for math showed promise as students' test scores increased by 25 percent. This grant will help the Partnership roll out the program across all 22 schools and start pilots in secondary English courses. More details here.
