Back-to-school scramble: Just in time for the back-to-school scramble, CampusBookRentals said it raised $20 million in a second round of financing, reports VentureBeat. Level Equity, Five Elms Capital and Cherokee & Walker led the round. Of course, Amazon recently kicked off its own textbook rental program --via the Kindle. And Chegg is still in the mix. None of that is good news for McGraw Hill, whom private equity investors are hinting should consider divesting its long-time education business.
