Sep 17, 2012

DUOLINGO: $15 million to Pittsburgh, PA-based Duolingo in Series B round led by New Enterprise Associates, with existing investor Union Square Ventures, Ashton Kutcher's A Grade Investments and Tim Ferriss also participating. "...we motivate them for free by teaching them language at the same time that they translate text. It kills two birds with one stone," says von Ahn in Forbes. More details there.
