Google Expands Research Pane to Easily Bring Web Content to Slides and Drawings

Free! RESEARCH PANE: Educators using Google Apps may already be familiar with the research pane, an in-document browser of sorts that lets users easily include web content -- web results, images, quotations, maps, and articles -- in Google Documents. This week Google announced that the research pane is also available on Google Slides and Drawings. Though the tool brings the research and knowledge creation processes closer together, it's not a solution for effective and responsible search, But not to worry: Google has that covered too.
