Fullbridge $5.5 Million

Fullbridge Inc.: $5.5 million to Cambridge, Mass.-based Fullbridge Inc., founded in 2010 by Peter Olson (former chairman Random House) and Candice Carpenter Olson (founder of iVillage) to bridge the gap between liberal arts education and the skills needed in the workplace. Investors include GSV Capital Corp., run by Michael Moe, who will join the Fullbridge board; Tomorrow Ventures; an investment vehicle of Alan Quasha, managing partner at Vanterra Capital; and Harris Preston, a leading investor in education. 2Tor's John Katzman is also a director. Guest instructors include Kleiner Perkins' Randy Komisar. A pilot summer program will run in June and July, reports PEHub.
