Eye in the Sky

EYE IN THE SKY: File this one under amazing. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Caltech have teamed up to create the Eyes on the Solar System Beta site. What you get is essentially a real-time virtual reality tour of our solar system and all known celestial bodies from planets to comets to satellites. You will have to download a “Unity Web Player” (no charge but takes some space). If you don’t have enough time to explore a slice of the universe, check out the Tours and Features option in the upper right-hand corner.
