LECTURETOOLS: Acquired by Echo360 for an undisclosed price. Created by University of Michigan lecturer Dr. Perry Samson, LectureTools launched in August 2011 and has been adopted at over 30 universities across the world. The platform offers a suite of student response system, presentation and study tools, and assessment tracking geared for college classrooms, which will now be integrated with the lecture capture platform offered by Echo360, which raised $31 million earlier this summer.
