MIT Education Arcade: $3 million to MIT Education Arcade from the Gates Foundation to design, research, and build a MMOG (massively multiplayer online game) to help high school students learn math and biology. Details so far: alignment with Common Core math standards and Next Generation Science standards, and Wisconsin-based Filament Games will be closely involved. More info here.
