Berlin-based online tutoring startup raises round to expand across Germany, Europe

SOFTATUTOR.COM: TechCrunch reports Berlin, Germany-based SofaTutor has raised a "mid single-digit million euro" round, led by Action Capital Partners, with existing investors participating. The company provides an online tutoring platform with over 7,700 videos in 19 subjects, and offers live tutoring for its 30,000 users (mostly in Germany). The funding will help the company expand its services across Germany and to other European markets.
