WIND: Sorry folks. The ill-fated union between the Aakash and its manufacturer Datawind is coming to a close, according to Reuters. It appears that despite the Indian government's efforts to mediate the well-documented disputes over specification requirements, the government will be considering proposals from other companies to spearhead building the next iteration of the tablet. (Datawind has so far only delivered 10,000 of the 100,000 units that its contract specified. Ooops.)
