GATHERING GREEN: Skill-certification platform Degreed has acquired Pathgather, a New York-based online learning provider of corporate training tools. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Each of Pathgather’s employees will be joining Degreed, which offers certifications and online training in more than 1500 areas. Degreed claims the two companies will together have a client base of more than 200 organizations and 4 million users, according to a press announcement.
In March, Degreed raised $42 million in a series C funding round led by Owl Ventures and Jump Capital.
