VITALSOURCE, which offers tools for higher-ed institutions and instructors to create digital courses and materials, has acquired the corporate learning platform Intrepid Learning. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013, Intrepid Learning’s features a platform (now referred to as “Intrepid Learn”) where employers can host new hire onboarding, customer education and other corporate trainings including MOOCs. VitalSource claims to provide learning content for more than 20 million users globally, and plans to expand its recent endeavor into corporate learning through the purchase of Intrepid Learning.
