ONLINE COURSE WEBSITE Udacity is trying to make an Intro to Programming Nanodegree program more attractive to early programmers. First, the four-month program is getting cheaper—albeit only until May 31—and five-month access to the course will be available for $299, compared to a normal price of $399. (Users can also still enroll for $99 per month.) The program is also tacking on a memory game around skills including HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus a new app-building project where students create a sound recorder that distorts their voice to sound like a chipmunk or Darth Vader.
