Future Ready Schools Announces Free, Personalized Learning Institutes for Educators

Mar 28, 2017

THE FUTURE IS NOW: Future Ready Schools (FRS), a national project that supports school leaders in implementing personalized learning, is branching out. This upcoming summer and fall, FRS will be offering eight free, regional institutes for educators interested in bringing personalized strategies to their schools. The free, two-day professional development events are open to district leaders, administrators, teachers and instructional coaches.

In a prepared statement, Bob Wise, president of FRS’s parent organization, the Alliance for Excellent Education, said the institutes are intended to be a “powerful opportunity for educators to network with peers and learn from innovators in their own backyard who are dealing with many of the same challenges.” Participants can expect a “research-based, two-day agenda filled with personalized professional learning opportunities for educators led by expert facilitators,” as well as follow-up activities FRS hopes will allow districts to “create customized, actionable personalized learning plans” when they return.

Registration is open now, limited to one leadership team per district. Check out dates and locations to see if there’s an institute coming near you.
