TAKING YOU HIGHER: Startups involved with higher ed or workforce readiness products take note: Village Capital and Lumina Foundation are running a program aimed at making you smarter about your business--and could put $75K in seed funding your way.
The program aims to connect young companies with advisory board members and other allies who will help validate (or not) your work. They also run biz dev sessions, introducing you to potential partners and customers, along with nifty extras (including "scholarships" for using tools such as Hubspot and Amazon Web Services). After four workshops, two companies will be "peer selected" for initial $75K investments.
Applications are due April 10--although sooner is better. Start here.
