On Tuesday the #DLNchat faithful showed up in force for a Valentine’s Day digital learning conversation—the first of our monthly higher-ed Twitter chats with a simultaneous physical gathering. The question at hand: “How might we build communities of practice that enable transformation within the academy towards better student outcomes?”
Assembled participants clicked away at their keyboards and phones while gathered together in Houston for the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) Annual Meeting. ELI, WCET, the Online Learning Consortium, and Tyton Partners joined forces with EdSurge to host the chat, which drew educators, instructional designers, administrators, and more to the table.
