Shanghai Homework Helper App Raises $100 Million Series C

XUEBAJUN: Venture capital doesn’t come easy—unless perhaps your company is Xuebajun. The Shanghai-based developer of a mobile homework help app has raised $100 million in a Series C round led by China Merchants Capital and EasyCapital, according to China Money Network. The company allows students to upload pictures of homework questions and receive answers within three minutes from robot and online tutors. (Similar U.S. products include GotIt and PhotoMath.) Xuebajun has raised more than $155 million since its launch in 2013.
