Acceptance Letters Delivered via Snapchat

Dec 2, 2016

SELF-DESTRUCTING WELCOME NOTES: Here's a new one: Students who applied early to the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay might find out they got into college via Snapchat. The admissions office at UWGB is delivering acceptance notifications via the popular image-messaging platform, according to WBAY. Students will still get an acceptance letter via snail mail, but for those using the app an immediate snap will take some of the suspense out of waiting a few more days. What does an acceptance snap look like? A mascot, some cartoon balloons, and some monster-green text, according to an image from CBS. That's a little harder to frame and hang on the wall.
