CONTEXT IS KING: Digital courseware is an ambiguous term that confounds even the most savvy edtech users and buyers. This past summer Tyton Partners and the Online Learning Consortium launched the beta version of a tool to help university decision-makers better understand what courseware solutions fit their specific needs. This week they peeled the wrapper off the latest version of the Courseware in Context (CWiC) framework. The new iteration includes additions such as relevant efficacy research and the establishment of a committee to oversee ongoing improvement of the framework.
