WELD NORTH, an investment company focused on digital education, announced August 1 that Edgenuity, a blended learning content and courseware provider owned by Weld North, has acquired education software provider Compass Learning. In a press release, Weld North wrote that it made the purchase so Edgenuity could offer a more "powerful and comprehensive K-12 product line." Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Weld North also owns Imagine Learning, Generation Ready, Performance Matters, The Learning House and Intellify Learning.
