IXL Learning Unveils New Analytic Tools for Teachers

May 23, 2016

REPORTING FOR DUTY: Founded in 2008, IXL Learning has been quiet relative to its traction. No longer. The company that claims usage by more than 200,000 teachers and 1 in 10 U.S. students is rolling out new analytics features to supplement its suite of practice problems for math, English, science and social studies. Teachers can now keep an eye out on students’ activity through a “Real-Time Center” dashboard that will flag students who may be idle or need help. There’s also a “Student activity wall” that displays exactly what students are working on. More details about the announcement here.
