HOW'S THIS FOR AN EXPERIMENT: On Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, Pascack Valley School District in New Jersey held two virtual days, when students were allowed to complete their assignments and schoolwork from home. But how did students feel about it—did they actually learn? The Smoke Signal, PV’s student-run newspaper, put together a series of articles and media diving into whether the virtual days performed at the same level as in-school instruction.
