Lesson.ly Scores $5M Series A to Help Companies Train Employees

LESSON.LY: $5 million to Indianapolis-based Lesson.ly in a Series A round led by OpenView Venture Partners. The startup, founded in 2012, offers “bite-size” lessons and assessments aimed at helping companies improve internal employee training. Other investors include High Alpha Capital and Allos Ventures. Lesson.ly claims it is used by more than 200,000 employees across more than 250 companies including Microsoft, Lyft and Stripe. The company has now raised $6.1 million and plans to grow its 30-person team, according to Xconomy.
