Mar 11, 2016

REVATURE, a Reston, VA-based company that provides learners with coding and software development skills and connects them to employers, has closed a Series A round led by University Ventures and Eden Capital, with USA Funds also chipping in. Exact total was not disclosed in the press release but sources say the amount is in the $20 million range.

Founded in 2003, Revature partners with universities to help set students on any one of 22 training pathways, each of which is tailored to a specific skill set and involve a mix of training, online projects and mentorship. Students from more than 600 universities have been hired through the program, the company claims.
