TERRATALK: Tokyo-based TerraTalk has raised $1.34M in funding from Incubate Fund to support English learners with pronunciation and grammar. The company recently launched an app for Android and will be releasing its iOS app later this year. In the TerraTalk app, users are given various roleplaying scenarios and provided situational prompts to which they respond. While the app is currently only setup for Japanese-speaking users, they will continue to expand to additional languages.
