TRANSFORMERS: Dan Davenport, the Director of Technology for Michigan’s Ovid-Elsie school district, didn’t have much money to spend on technology, but he wanted his students using Chromebooks. He did, however, have a pile of 10-year-old PCs. With some help from Chromium and Neverware, he converted them into lightning fast Chromebooks. And he’s not the only one. The Verge reports that cloud computing services like those at Ovid-Elsie are reshaping the technological landscape at schools faster and faster every day.
