SPHERO: Boulder, Colorado’s own Sphero has raised $3,100,000 in funding according to SEC Form D filings. Since 2010, the company has offered Sphero, a programmable ball, as well as Ollie, designed to look like a small skateboard, which both aim to help kids learn to code. In June 2015, Sphero raised $45M in funding from Mercato Partners, Disney and the Foundry Group.
