The Creator of Tomb Raider Is Starting Two Technology-Focused Schools

Feb 9, 2016

LARA CROFT TEACHER: Ian Livingstone, a cofounder of Tomb Raider maker Games Workshop, is planning to open two free schools, one in East London and one Bournemouth, England. The schools' curriculum will focus on digital technology under the umbrella of a science, technology, engineering, arts and math curriculum. theThe schools did not have an opening date as of press time. According to The Guardian, Livingstone felt the impetus to found the schools when he led a 2010 review of digital skills acquisition in English schools and found instruction to be lacking. Livingstone himself dropped out of high school.
