Dreamit and Penn State to Launch Edtech Accelerator

Dec 15, 2015

EDTECH VERTICAL: Dreamit, an accelerator based in New York City and Philadelphia, is partnering with Penn State to create a vertical program specific to edtech. The first cohort will start on March 2016. During the following four months, Dreamit will provide entrepreneurs with mentorship, access to a global network, connections to industry players, and up to $100,000 in direct investment. Entrepreneurs are expected to spend a week per month in one of the Dreamit hub in Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York City or Houston.

Penn State will be offering access to its faculty and a space to pilot edtech ideas. The university is also committed to recruiting students as interns for Dreamit and for its edtech startups.
