OPEN ENGLISH has acquired Next University, an online school that makes courses on digital technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Open English is an online school for learning English that serves Latin America, Brazil, and Latino Americans that claims to have 450,000 enrolled students across the Americas. Open English plans to offer its students the courses from Next University, i.e. Android development and Javascript.
"Just like speaking English, acquiring digital technology skills also provides a path to access the highest demand jobs," said Andres Moreno, Founder and CEO of Open English and Founder of Next University.
