TOPPR, a Mumbai-based test prep platform, just raised $2 million in venture-debt from InnoVen Capital. The application helps high school students in India prepare for university entrance exams, including the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination and All India Pre-Medical Exam. According to LiveMint, the amount will be used for two future acquisitions. This is the second round of investment that Toppr has raised in six months. Last March, the company raised $10 million, and a month later, it bought Easy Prep, a platform that provides online and offline preparation for Indian exams.
