Speak Up! What Books Are Most Appropriate For Your Students?

Oct 14, 2015

BENCHMARK BOOKS: City of Thieves may be a fun read—but not entirely appropriate for 12-year-olds, as the uproar in Nashville Prep suggests. So, dear teachers: What do you think should be the appropriate books for each grade level? The K-8 Benchmark Book Survey, a project from the nonprofit TextProject.org, invites you to share your expertise on best reads for students. Here’s a simple survey where you can name a few of the most appropriate books for the grades you have taught; the results will be shared by the end of the year. And here’s a reward: you’ll have access to six free e-books at the end.
