PowerToFly Raises $6.5M to Connect Women With Jobs

POWERTOFLY: $6.5 million to New York, NY-based PowerToFly in a Series A round led by Crosslink Capital. Hearst Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures also participated. Since 2014, PowerToFly has offered an online marketplace connecting women to jobs, focusing on positions that allow mothers to work remotely. Close to 1,000 companies, who pay PowerToFly when a woman takes the job position, have posted jobs on the marketplace. More from The Wall Street Journal.
