NEXT UP, OSCARS: Congrats to Professor Larry Sabato. His Coursera MOOC, “The Kennedy Half Century,” has been nominated for an Emmy in the Best Instructional Programming category—the first MOOC to reach such acclaim, according to UVA’s Center for Politics. Sabato, who is most known for his uncanny ability to predict election results, won’t be in the awards limelight for the first time: Last year, the documentary version of the MOOC won an Emmy for Best Historical Documentary, and in 2013, Sabato scored an Emmy for documentary “Out of Order.”
