TONARA: $5 million to Israel startup, Tonara in a a Series B round led by Internet search giant, Baidu (China's version of Google) and Israel's Carmel Ventures. Founded in 2008, Tonara currently offers two iOS music apps: a digital music sheet app that can listen to notes and flip pages accordingly, and Wolfie, a piano instructional app. The company has now raised closed to $10 million, and will look to expand its footprint in China, where an estimated 50 million children are learning to play the piano.
