​Verizon Awards $1M to Sesame Enable for Touch-Free Tech

VERIZON: $1 million to Sesame Enable, the first prize winner of the second annual Verizon’s Powerful Answers competition. Sesame Enable, which declares “Touch is overrated,” provides touch-free technology so that paralyzed individuals can play games and use applications on smartphones and tablets. Books that Grow, which offers eBooks that adapt to a user’s reading ability, and School Yourself, which provides interactive math lessons online, each won $250,000.
