TESTIVE: $500K to Cambridge, MA-based Testive in a bridge round from Walter Winshall, David Gardner, and “inside investors.” existing investors Jean Hammond, Dharmesh Shah, Bill Warner and Don McLagan. The startup has now raised $1 million, after a similar-sized seed round from Jean Hammond, Eileen Rudden, Dharmesh Shah and Bill Warner in 2012. Founded in 2011, Testive offers prep for the SAT and ACT, including paid one-on-one coaching and over 3,000 free questions, videos and lesson plans. Testive has been used by over 130,000 students worldwide and, according to a press release, will use this round to expand its user base.
