Tiggly Raises $4M for iPad Educational App for Babies

TIGGLY: $4 million to New York-based Tiggly in a Series A round led by German educational toy company Habermaass GmbH. Since its launch in 2013, the company offers “Tiggly Shapes,” a 21st century twist of the age-old wooden blocks that kids use to interact with apps on the iPad and develop spatial thinking, language and motor skills. With the funding, Tiggly plans to expand its team from six to 12 employees, focused on app and design team expansion. More from BizJournals and Crunchbase.
