The 'Anti-Thiel' Fellowship: Get $100K for Your Startup and Stay in School
THE ANTITHESIS: Peter Thiel’s $100K fellowship to get smart kids to ditch college and start businesses just announced its fourth class. FastCompany calls our attention to an “Anti-Thiel fellowship” by the name of Founder.org, a 12-month program that offers kids $100K to start companies--while staying in school. This year’s award recipients was selected from nearly 1,000 applications. Vinay Mahadik, CEO and co-founder of Securly, which offers web filtering tools for schools, is a graduate of the program.
