Australian Startup Gets $2 Million to Connect Private Schools and Parents

SCHOOL PLACES: $2 million to Australian startup, School Places in a round led by Square Peg Capital, Tank Stream Ventures and rampersand. School Places is an online marketplace where parents can find discounted open enrollment spots at independent private schools, which pay to list these positions. Startup Smart reports that School Places “has delivered more than $1 million in school fee to its partner schools.” The company will use the funding to expand its services throughout Australia by the end of the year.
