EURO UNION: In the spring, we noted that European investors were pulling together a fund they called the Edxus Group to acquire e-learning companies in Europe. In June the group had its first conference EdTech Europe 20 and put a spotlight on three European firms

- Sofatutor (Germany)
- InfoMentor (Iceland/Sweden)

Now Edxus Group is building its network of execs with two new faces: Simon Guild, formerly European MTV Networks CEO and Jeff Kupsky, formerly Turner Broadcasting Europe president and Board Director of e-learning platform Immerse Learning. The fund is expected to have €50-60 million ($64 to $77 million) to spend; execs are saying they'll start announcing investments early next year.
